What is the REDUNIQ DCC?
DCC stands for Dynamic Currency Conversion. It's a Dynamic Currency Conversion feature that allows your foreign customers to pay in the card's home currency. The process is done directly at the terminal or online, in a simple and transparent way.
What does "Markup" mean?
O markup is the margin applied to the exchange rate of the transaction, visible to the customer at the time of payment. When the customer chooses to pay in your currency, this amount generates additional revenue for your business.
Does the DCC have additional costs?

Are the DCC markup and business service discounts the same?
No. The revenue you receive from DCC transactions does not interfere with your discounts or commercial conditions as a REDUNIQ customer.
Does the customer see what they're paying for?
Yes. The terminal displays the amount in the currency of origin, the exchange rate applied and the total converted into euros. The transaction is validated on screen and confirmed on the receipt.
